Codes may be from 1 to 12 digits long.
Number of Codes
The PX 2000 CARD can handle up to 6000 codes.
Copy Limits
A copy limit of any value between 1 and 999,999 may be set for any code. A global value may be input within this range and automatically applied to any code on entry. Code limits may be edited to any value, within the range, at any time by the supervisor.
Copy Costs
A copy cost may be programmed into the unit and copy costs as well as copy volume may be reported.
Sub-totalling
The PX2000 CARD can be easily programmed to allow groups of codes to be subtotalled. This facility is most useful where there is a requirement to record copier usage by department as well as each person within the department. Both the number of copies and the cost can be reported. This feature is often used in secondary schools for monitoring usage by departmental budget area.
Open Access
The PX 2000 CARD may be set to operate in Auto-Entry mode for applications where validation is not required. When used in this mode the unit allows the length of the code to be pre-set to the number of characters in the client code.
Computer Connection - PX2000 Management Software
The PX 2000 CARD may be connected to a PC running the Copyguard PX 2000 management Software. The connection is possible by direct serial cable or by the optional TCP/IP connection box to a network. The Copyguard PX 2000 Management Software enables the easy download of information and merger of files from all Copyguards into a consolidated report. Reports may be exported, archived or printed from the software.
Printed Reports
Reports may be read from the screen or printed with the companion CG Print II printer. The PX 2000 CARD has 10 print report options. The system will print a report of either the complete list of codes or only those codes with a recorded count. This may be done with or without limit information. Printouts may be started from any code in the list. The PX2000 CARD can print and delete a single code and information. The unit is able to give a printout report of the last three users of the system.
Docket Print
The PX2000 CARD can be set to print (via the CG PRINT II) a transaction docket following the completion of each photo copy session. This is in addition to the unit’s ability to continue to record all activity for a full print-out of all codes when required by the supervisor.
User-friendly Keyboard
The flexible PX 2000 CARD also offers the choice of secure, numeric PIN code keyboard access control. A Pin code is always recorded to a separate account to a Card code. Combination Pin followed by Card entry is also possible and is often used to first enter a Department code followed by the users Card.
